Jeng-Yuan is a member of the research staff in the Network System Innovation Group at Fujitsu Laboratories of America. His current research focuses on advanced technologies for photonic network system design and management.
Before joining Fujitsu Laboratories of America in December of 2011, Jeng-Yuan received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California in November of 2011 under the supervision of Professor Alan Willner where his research areas focused on optical performance monitoring, fiber-optic sub-systems, optical signal processing, and spatial-mode multiplexing/demultiplexing for high-capacity transmission systems.
Jeng-Yuan received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California and B.S. in Physics from National Changhua University of Education in 2006 and 2002, respectively. He has published one book chapter and 50+ conference/journal papers.
