SVP, Head of Marketing Unit
Mr. Mikito Kiname brings more than 30 years of experience in various aspects of FUJITSU business to his current role as SVP, Head of Marketing Unit, reporting directly to Mr. Tango Matsumoto, EVP, Corporate Senior Vice President & Head of Marketing. Mr. Kiname leads a wide-range of activities involved with organizing and implementing FUJITSU’s marketing strategies aimed at further expanding global business.
Since joining FUJITSU LIMITED in April 1981, Mr Kiname has consistently contributed to growing international sales of FUJITSU’s products and services. This has included two assignments in the United States as a marketing manager at FUJITSU America Inc. at NY, SJ, Dallas(1984-1989), and then as a marketing director at FUJITSU Network Communications Inc., (1992-1998) in Dallas. After returning from the US in 1998, Mr Kiname held senior management positions in key functions of the Global Business Group including, business development and sales & marketing. These roles predominantly focused on pushing forward the global expansion of FUJITSU’s services and support businesses, as well as system platforms.
In June 2007, Mr Kiname was appointed to President of FUJITSU India Limited. During which time he lived and worked in New Delhi for three years as a FUJITSU’s India representative. After returning from India in 2009, he was appointed to Senior Vice President with responsibility for global business development of the Mobile Phone Business Unit.
In April 2012, FUJITSU dramatically changed its organization structure, creating a new matrix formation. In this process, Mr Kiname was appointed President of Product Marketing & Alliances Unit, and since April 2014 he has held the position of Head of Marketing Unit.
