Multi-Service Provisioning Platform

Fujitsu’s Multi-Service Provisioning Platform (MSPP) meets the network requirements for Next-Generation Transport and Access. Fujitsu's MSPP supports the full scope of fibre access applications, including:

• Business access, with data handling for TDM and Ethernet up to 1000Mb/s, and ISDN30 backhaul.
• ATM and IP-based DSLAM backhaul.
• 2G, 3G, WiMAX, mobile backhaul.

Fujitsu's MSPP also provides full capability for the NGN, from broadband, voice, mobile backhaul and aggregation, using Ethernet over SDH rings or protected native Ethernet links, to business access with transparent connections and "provider" tagging.

Fujitsu's innovative design delivers three switch-characterised network applications within a single shelf via a 12Gb/s packet switch, 30Gb/s VC-4 TDM switch, or 2.5Gb/s Low Order and High Order TDM switch.

By combining traditional fibre access applications with Next Generation Networking, operators and service providers are guaranteed a flexible and cost-effective platform that reduces both CapEx and OpEx through the following benefits:

• Metro and access netowork provision are integrated for maximum cost-efficiency with multiple ring support and resilient topologies, via STM-1/4/16 SNCP and LAG-protected Ethernet links.
