The FLASHWAVE® Compact Delivery System (CDS) Packet Optical Networking Platform is a compact and modular access platform. It is designed specifically to facilitate the network transition to Connection Oriented Ethernet (COE) services.

The FLASHWAVE CDS complements the FLASHWAVE 9500 Packet ONP in the metro aggregation and transport layers of the network, by extending the benefits of COE to the access network in addition to supporting existing SDH/TDM services.
