The Complete Cycle

Fujitsu operates a highly successful Repair and Refurbishment operation, located in Antrim, Northern Ireland. Representing one of the company's key business areas, and a focus for growth in its own right, the Repair and Refurbishment division is housed in a purpose-built 25,000 sq. ft facility, very close to Belfast International Airport, with easy accessibility from all over the UK.

The Repair and Refurbishment operation is equipped to handle the complete refurbishment cycle, aiming to create as-new products from units otherwise destined for disposal. After an extensive cleaning, re-coating and labelling process, the finished refurbished products and systems are indistinguishable from new, and are supplied with a full Fujitsu warranty.

Antrim is equally well equipped to deal with the internal technology, adopting a reverse-engineering approach that includes sourcing replacement printed wiring boards. Extensive in-house test facilities are adapted to suit each project's requirements, with appropriate test routines being devised accordingly. Acceptance tolerances are agreed with the customer in advance, to ensure that the as-new specifications can be met as tightly as possible.
