Fujitsu's Network Support Services - Civils, Cabling, and Jointing

The Civils team concentrates on telecoms duct laying and jointing chamber construction, involving both footway and carriageway projects. In addition, it conducts highway work, under the NRWSA.

The Cabling facility focuses on the installation of light or heavyweight cable, principally working in occupied and/or congested underground ducting environments. Duties range from cabling, rodding and roping, winching, digging and clearing blockages.

The Jointing operation is involved across the spectrum of projects, from copper cabling jointing and highway working, to shrink down and modular joint installations, live circuits and the identification of circuit pairs; to working with diverse cable types - such as grease-filled, armoured and pressurised.
