The Field Services' skilled engineering teams handle a range of planning and installation activities on a Pan-European basis. Fujitsu's approach is to ensure that each project commences with an agreed blueprint, ensuring that each stage can be managed and implemented to an agreed set of specifications and targets. It offers a highly skilled planning function, supported by a dedicated logistics and quality resource - all monitored by an expert Field Supervision team to check installation quality at each stage.
Project scope typically ranges from overhead ironwork, cable tray, rack, power equipment, fibre management, suite lighting, MDF extension, DDFs, core card installation and equipment recovery. In addition, Fujitsu Field Services offers related skills and capabilities for street furniture installation, joint box construction and fibre blowing. The principle is to provide a complete solution approach - from start to finish.
This is augmented by a 24/7 post-installation support service, via the Technical Assistance Centre. This involves skilled Fujitsu engineers being permanently allocated to customer NMCs, providing a scalable and complete support service for the deployed technologies, with access to the wider resources within Fujitsu.
