Telecoms experience

Our understanding of telecommunications comes from providing services to both fixed and mobile operators for the last 30 years. For the last 15 we have provided BT with Europe’s largest mediation system and have more recently been responsible for the infrastructure components that underpin BT’s delivery of ‘Broadband Britain’. In 2005, Fujitsu won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise Innovation for delivering broadband services in the UK.

Our telecoms heritage is not confined to Europe. In Japan we have used our vast R&D expenditure to provide fully integrated systems and managed networks for some of the worlds most IP mature and technologically advanced companies, including NTT DoCoMo and KDDI.

Security

Security is an imperative in all our networks. It has to be for any service provider with long-term aspirations in public sector. All of our networks are private and we use BS7799 as a policy to provide rigour to security and minimise the risk of threats, allowing access for authorised users only and ensuring your safety from would-be intruders
