As part of the 2006 acquisition of Siebel CRM, Oracle quickly appreciated the value of their analytics platform which was quickly launched as Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, this world class BI platform gives a customer the ability to report across their entire enterprise with a single front end. Within Siebel their was a pre packaged warehouse solution for even more impressive OLAP capability and this concept has been extended to all Oracle Applications and interestingly to SAP. Oracle provides out of the box, warehouse and OBIEE content with ETL (informatica) routines from the various applications – Oracle BI Applications) - OBIA. Fujitsu one of the largest Oracle Services providers in Europe is currently working on one of the biggest rollouts of the OBIA in the UK.

The Siebel Analytics and Hyperion Products are what makes up the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management portfolio and Fujitsu has committed to being a serious player in this capability. We sought internal investment to create and develop the capability and this included exploiting the Oracle Partner Enablement Program for this discipline and with this team then creating and funding an OBIEE ‘bootcamp’. Fujitsu has achieved Certified Advantage Partner recognition in both Technology and Applications, one of the first Systems integrators to do so, and this is our differentiator, we know the data in the ERP applications
