Case studies

  • Airtricity renewable energy company

    Fujitsu was chosen by Airtricity to lead the analysis, design, implementation and delivery of the re-engineered processes and the integration of their I.T. applications with the marketplace to ensure the solution passed formal certification before going live.

  • Environment Agency, Floodline Warnings Direct service

    The consultancy was delivered in two Phases. The output from Phase One was the Benefits Roadmap, developed through a series of working sessions with stakeholders and Agency staff. Why call the output a roadmap? Because it captures, in an easy to navigate form, the path that must be followed and the steps that must be taken if the expected benefits are to occur

  • Lancashire County Council

    We believed that using IT as a tool for social change in this environment would be successful. Commented David Halpin Service Manager for Physical Disability within Lancashire County Council. When we justified this belief, we were successfully awarded funding.

  • Ministerial Department of Sports, Luxembourg

    By computerising the appointments, the Medical-Sports Department aims to simplify the way appointments are made, as well as lighten the burden of administrators. Finally, it intends to facilitate access to information for medical staff, who are now able to use a secure collaborative portal to access a wide-range database.

  • Northern Ireland Court Service

    In late 1999 Fujitsu was awarded a 10 year PFI contract with the Northern Ireland Court Service for the ongoing development and management of its IT infrastructure, corporate applications and courtroom technology. As part of the agreement Fujitsu was also tasked to design and implement an Integrated Court Operation System (ICOS) that would standardise and automate its business processes, improve resource management and be accessible by all court users.
