Fujitsu appoints Simon Blagden as Non-Executive Director

Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe Ltd, the leading supplier of high performance telecommunications solutions, has appointed Simon Blagden MBE as a Non-Executive Director of the company with immediate effect.

London, 5th May 2005 — 
Commenting on the appointment, Shigeyuki Unagami, Managing Director of Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe said: "We are extremely pleased that Simon Blagden is joining our board at this very exciting time for our company. Simon brings a wealth of experience in business relationships in the telecommunications sector, and we look forward to him becoming closely involved with our business here in the United Kingdom".

Simon Blagden has an extensive background in the UK telecommunications industry, working at both GEC Plessey Telecommunications and Quante UK. He was more recently Managing Director of Spescom Limited, based in London and South Africa, and Pietas, where he has had a leading role in contract and deal brokerage in the telecoms and IT sector. Simon Blagden was awarded the MBE in 1997 for Services to UK Business and Export.
