London, 16. January 2009 — Fujitsu Europe Limited is committed to the channel and has a policy to sell imaging products only through designated distribution partners. The company's reorganisation optimises Fujitsu sales activities throughout EMEA and applies its sources efficiently to increase business opportunities and revenues for its channel partners. To assure flexibility and effectiveness in the channel, Fujitsu deploys specialised sales teams familiar with regional market conditions.

Spearheading the new EMEA Imaging Sales Group is Mike Nelson, responsible for sales operations and marketing strategies. An expert team of Fujitsu Regional Sales Directors supports the respective EMEA territories as follows:

Matthew Beavis / UK, France, Benelux, Middle East and Africa
Wilhelm Gassner / Russia and Eastern Europe
Reinhold Hirschauer / Selected Value Added Distributors (VADs) in EMEA
Pieter Madsen / Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Nordic Countries and Baltic States
Lorenzo Todeschini / Italy and Mediterranean Countries

The Fujitsu Imaging Sales Group is additionally strengthened through its new Channel Marketing Manager, Enzo Capobianco, with responsibility for Fujitsu Imaging Channel Marketing activities throughout EMEA. Enzo has extensive international channel experience to further develop Fujitsu's Imaging Channel Program and drive other key channel activities.

"I am proud to have such a strong team in place to support our customer's business throughout EMEA. Through the close cooperation at all levels and with a defined understanding of each regional market and the needs of our customers, we are uniquely positioned to help each individual customer to strengthen and grow their business with us," assured Mike Nelson, General Manager Sales Operations, Fujitsu Europe Limited.

Committing further to the EMEA imaging partner community, Fujitsu will stage its next Imaging Channel Conference in Marrakech, Morocco from 11th to 13th of February 2009. The 3-day convention provides excellent opportunities to meet with key players of the international imaging industry, view current and future product and business developments, explore new technologies, and share latest trends with industry analysts. It will also mark the expansion of Fujitsu's Imaging Partner Program through new channel marketing concepts, additional channel partner categories as well as specialised initiatives such as personalised sales and service training.

After the successful launch of this conference series in Dubai in 2008, the Fujitsu Imaging Channel Conference serves as a major platform of the imaging market in EMEA. More than 300 high-profile channel partners from all over EMEA are expected to attend this year's Fujitsu event in Marrakech.
