Fujitsu expands market leading Imaging Channel Program to all of EMEA

EMEA-wide loyalty program to benefit Fujitsu imaging partners


London, 1. February 2008 — Fujitsu Europe Limited, a major provider of professional imaging products, today announces the expansion of its Imaging Channel Program to all of EMEA (Europe/Middle East/Africa). This market leading loyalty program was first launched in the UK in May 2007 and is a primary component of Fujitsu’s overall strategic investment in channel resources. It is designed to enlarge the reseller channel in EMEA and to strengthen its indirect sales for partners in the imaging segment. The program is also geared to enhance Fujitsu´s partner network and customer interaction, consolidating all existing and new partner contributions into a streamline framework whilst being responsive to changing market dynamics.

The channel´s demand for this program is significant. Just eight months after its UK launch, Fujitsu counts 230 certified partners, with more than 100 channel partners pending. Fujitsu expects more than 500 channel partners to be fully certified by the end of 2008. Program participation is truly EMEA wide with strong participation from all regions and indirect partner certifications from 31 countries.

Committing further to the international imaging partner community, Fujitsu will stage a major EMEA Imaging Channel Conference in Dubai (UAE) from 13th-15th of February 2008. The conference will be one of the market leading events with key industry players and exhibitors. More than 250 high-profile channel partners from all over EMEA are expected to attend to share latest market developments, technology trends, and new business opportunities, including the showcases of 14 major solution partners of the document management market.

“The Imaging Channel Program will enable Fujitsu to additionally support resellers by providing access to key marketing and sales tools,” comments Ann Thueland, Manager, Fujitsu Channel Marketing EMEA. “For the first time, we will enable key resellers to directly leverage the strength of the worldwide recognized Fujitsu brand.”

The Imaging Channel Program offers three branded partner categories:
1. FUJITSU Authorized Imaging Distributor
2. FUJITSU Qualified Imaging Reseller
3. FUJITSU Selected Imaging Enabler

Featuring performance-based Development, Silver, Gold and Elite achievement levels for Qualified Imaging Resellers and Selected Imaging Enablers, the new Imaging Channel Program will provide many new benefits to partners. These include assigned resources, leads management, tailored incentives, product demonstrations, event and product support, as well as powerful marketing tools, which will enable partners to create co-branded collateral and have access to Market Development Funds for targeted promotions. Fujitsu provides a dedicated online partner portal to strengthen the communication with its channel partners, offering direct access to essential program tools and templates.

The basic requirements for becoming a Fujitsu imaging partner are financial stability and product expertise, whilst Silver, Gold and Elite achievement levels are based on revenue commitments and geographic scopes, as well as partner experience in key market areas.
