London, June 13, 2017

Fujitsu today reveals the ESPRIMO K557, a versatile all-in-one desktop PC – with a streamlined design that looks at home in even the most visible locations such as shared office spaces, reception desks and classrooms. The newest model introduces a clean, clutter-free design, with its processing unit integrated behind the 24-inch full HD display. A competitive price point means the ESPRIMO K557 is accessible for a broad cross section of use case scenarios.

The ESPRIMO K557 fits seamlessly into any office environment, and represents a space saving of up to 23 percent in comparison to a standard desktop PC and display. The all-in-one design also enables a cable-free desktop – when used with a wireless keyboard and mouse, which can be stowed between the screen and the bottom plate to provide maximum desk space, when not in use.

There’s no compromise on performance or features – this all-in-one packs a punch. Powerful 7th generation Intel Core processors can easily handle the abundance of applications and environments commonly used during the working day. Even though the ESPRIMO K557 is an all-in-one model, both the hard drive and memory can be easily upgraded.

Rüdiger Landto, Head of Client Computing Devices at Fujitsu EMEIA, comments:
“Workplaces are increasingly minimalist environments and businesses are striving to reduce technology complexity. At the same time, demands for compute performance continue to grow. The ESPRIMO K557 is designed to be a great all-rounder – attractive and compact enough to be on display, but still robust enough to be used in public places. It also offers well thought out ergonomics and powerful processing capabilities at an attractive price point. This winning combination means that it is just as well suited for reception desks, classrooms or as a solid workhorse to handle everyday office tasks.”

Ergonomics lie at the heart of the ESPRIMO K557 – users can ensure a healthy working posture regardless of their preferred sitting or standing position thanks to four-stage height adjustment, and a large swivel range. In addition, the audio and USB 3.0 ports are easily accessible as they are conveniently located at the front.

Data protection and theft prevention are also delivered as standard with the all-in-one ESPRIMO K557 which features security measures including Fujitsu Workplace Protect software plus full disk encryption and system-level passwords. EraseDisk software, a SmartCard reader and an optical drive are available as options. Additionally, the cable cover on the back is lockable and prevents manipulation or theft of components.

Pricing and availability

The rollout of the ESPRIMO K557 will start in Europe, Middle East, India and Africa region in July 2017. Pricing varies according to model, configuration and country, and starts at £649.
