Birmingham, 27th July 2006 — Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe Ltd (FTEL), the leading supplier of high performance telecommunications solutions, announces that it has partnered with Terawave Communications Inc., to integrate Terawave’s GPON technology into Fujitsu’s GeoStream Access Gateway MSAN platform and network management solutions for the European Market. The partnership reflects Fujitsu’s strength in the access domain, combined with Terawave’s world-class technology and experience in passive optical networking (PON).
Andy Stevenson, CEO of Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe, commented: “This agreement with Terawave reinforces our ability to provide the most advanced end-to-end network solutions in the pan-European and ultimately global telecoms marketplace.
