Event details

EDE event. The Lean Revolution. Making less into more with the Toyota principles.
27th May 2008.

Lean – thin, non-fatty, slim, minimal, flexible, light, agile, competitive...

Lean is a special way of thinking, upon which the operation of any organisation, regardless of its field, may be built. Reducing waste and improving efficiency are the key principles of Lean thinking. Lean means moving towards as efficient an operation as possible with the help of processes which have been jointly agreed upon and which are continuously further developed.

In the EDE Seminar, organised by Finnish Fujitsu, we will hear the views and experiences of the top specialists in Lean thinking. Our topics will include:

  • How Toyota and Lean thinking are linked
  • Experiences at Nokia of the practical application of the Lean way of thinking
  • Can light and flexible be simultaneously cost-effective and high quality?

The EDE Seminars are special Executive Events which provide an excellent forum for meeting the decision makers of the world of business, for listening to the current views of expert speakers and for sharing international experiences.
