Fujitsu is acknowledged for its technology leadership in the telecommunications arena. Its innovative solutions span optical networks, wireless solutions, switching, submarine networks and support systems – traditionally holding a major market share in the Far East and United States. As a global business, telecommunications accounts for 18% of Fujitsu’s total revenue, our largest sector.

Fujitsu Services is focusing on uniting the different threads of Fujitsu’s existing telecommunications expertise into a targeted pan-European strategy.

We operate across Europe and beyond, for example, in the UK, we provide consulting, systems integration and operations, including running complete retail centres and consumer helpdesks – with customers including some of the largest mobile and fixed operators.

In the Nordic countries, we work extensively in the mobile arena, providing technology and application developments to Nokia, for example. We are also specialists in realising fixed mobile IP convergence for a number of Nordic operators. In Eire, we have an outstanding team of Telecoms business and SI architects with OSS/BSS and MVNE skills.

In addition, we work closely with Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe, with its engineering and service expertise, to offer an impeccable brand proposition for both the IT and telecommunications sector, combining a great engineering and service culture. We can address the entire value chain, delivering a genuinely end-to-end approach to our customers.

Our main thrust is to find ways of helping customers to cut costs and run legacy networks more efficiently, while also helping to bring new high quality services to market.
