Shared services, implementing shared services solutions
Implementing shared services is one way of responding to the challenges being set by government, and has a clear role to play in driving efficiencies by working collaboratively with other authorities.
Fujitsu takes an incremental approach to shared services, whereby specific aspects of your service can be examined as candidates for sharing.
For example, you may want to share IT facilities, such as data storage or helpdesks, to alleviate some of the pressures around investment in new technologies prior to considering sharing some of your more critical services.
