Intelligence-led policing

Information can come from anywhere, but unless it’s secure, accurate, timely and accessible, it won’t be effective.

Our military experience helps here – we may know more about secure information sharing than anyone in Europe.

We work with partners to develop expertise in NIMstandard systems that capture, process and store textual, temporal, spatial and multi media information (including images, video and audio recordings and physical evidence), then clean the data so that it is valid and useful.

Our systems then support analysis of this information with standard policing tools. Intelligence is extracted from ‘business as usual’ processes, decisions can be made faster and the front line is better informed than ever.

The RAF uses a command and control system that we developed. It delivers and synchronises secret information to bases in the UK and across the world, even when accessed via low broadwidth dial-up connections.

We have delivered a system to the MOD which gives commanders a near-real-time view of operational assets wherever they are, blending information from multiple sources into a single situational display.
