Valio – Founded in 1905 primarily to export butter, Valio is now the biggest dairy business in Finland, processing and marketing over 1,000 milk, dairy and other food products, and also a world-class pioneer in developing functional foods. The company is owned by 22 co-operative dairies and 11,800 dairy farms and employs over 4,000 people.
Raisio – The overall aim of the application management service is to enable organisations to save time, resources and money by increasing the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of application management, without a long-term commitment.
Moventas – Moventas’ first agreement with Fujitsu for the provision of its IT infrastructure management service (branded as Patja in Finland), which mostly concerned the company’s operations in Finland, was signed in 2005. In evaluating suppliers one of the most important criteria was that the future ICT partner was of a sufficient size.
Metso: IT infrastructure management services – Metso chose Fujitsu to provide a range of outsourced IT infrastructure services, including its Desktop Managed Service, to support the needs of 8,000 workstation users across its 60 sites in Finland.
Hartwall – Hartwall chose Fujitsu to develop a mobile solution to streamline its logistics operations, based around the use of Fujitsu’s mProcess software and Nokia 9210i Communicators.
Glaston – Glaston's Patja solution incorporates workstation services, servers and machine rooms. It also covers helpdesk, maintenance of the Windows and network environments as well as firewall management.
Aker Yards – After evaluating a range of potential partners, including its three existing suppliers, Aker Yards decided to outsource the management of its entire IT infrastructure, including 1,400 desktop systems, to Fujitsu. In addition, Fujitsu also took over the hosting and day-today operation of its data centre services, including 150 existing servers located in its Turku yard.
