Compliance

A foundation for sustainability
As we have said elsewhere, we recognise that consumers now demand more from businesses. They demand, not just compliance, but proactive leadership on matters of sustainability.
This doesn’t mean, of course, that we are any less committed to rigorous adherence to all relevant regulation and legislation affecting our business. We remain committed to compliance on issues as diverse as packaging; the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE), which aims to minimise the impact of electrical and electronic goods on the environment; and the RoHS directive, which covers the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
We are also working to become accredited to ISO14001 (Environmental Management System), which governs how organisations can reduce their environmental impact, ensure compliance and drive continual improvement.
