The Fujitsu SME Programme resides within the EMEIA Procurement Function. Fujitsu’s Procurement team is led by Dr Clive Rees, the EMEIA Chief Procurement Officer. The team responsible for the execution of the SME Programme is the EMEIA Procurement Enablers team, headed by Jenny Nolan. Katherine Smith and Joley Gordon are the SME Procurement Leads.

Clive Rees

Dr Clive Rees is the Fujitsu Services Chief Procurement Officer for the UK & Ireland region, as well as Acting Chief Procurement Officer for the EMEIA region. Clive joined Fujitsu in February 2014, which is his latest posting in his long and successful Procurement and IT career. Prior to his appointment with Fujitsu, Clive was the Chief Procurement Officer for Ladbrokes PLC. Before that, Clive spent six years with Lloyds Banking Group as the IT Procurement Director, four years at Abbey National (pre Santander) as Head of IT Procurement, and three years at National Australia Bank as an IT Procurement Lead. Earlier in his career, Clive held varied Procurement/Commercial roles with the National Health Service.

Dr Rees has negotiated large outsourcing and off shoring deals, as well as setting up Procurement Strategy. Clive holds a BA Honours Undergraduate Degree, an MBA and PhD in Commercial Relationships. Clive is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.

Andrea Schrader

Andrea Schrader

Andrea Schrader is the Head of Americas & EMEIA Procurement Enablers team. Since joining the Fujitsu Group in 2008, Andrea has driven and supported regional and global procurement assessments and transformation programs in close collaboration with Fujitsu’s procurement departments in EMEIA, Americas, Asia and Oceania. Most recently she has spent a significant amount of her time in Japan working closely with Fujitsu’s Corporate Purchasing Unit.

Andrea started her career as an IT Specialist in System Integration before she moved to Procurement. Since then she has become an experienced procurement professional with extensive negotiation, category and supplier management expertise. Her successful procurement career spans over 14 years and she has held various procurement roles in ICT companies. Andrea has a very strong analytical skillset combined with attention to detail as well as strategic insight.

In her current role she provides leadership in the transformation of the Procurement function and implementation of Fujitsu’s Procurement Strategy and Governance.

Andrea holds an MBA degree and is CCI certified as Procurement and Logistics Professional.

Katherine Smith

Katherine Smith

Katherine Smith has worked at Fujitsu Services Limited since March 2011. Her current position is as a Procurement Manager which she has held since February 2014. Her main responsibilities dwell within Fujitsu’s SME Engagement Programme and all of the initiatives that reside within it. Key activities include inciting interest for and advocating SME activities both internally and externally, creating new initiatives to build on current achievements and developing relationships to generate new opportunities.

Prior to this appointment, she worked within the Technology Product Group division of Fujitsu Services as a Buyer. Her other work experience includes Purchasing roles in organisations such as Flextronics and Talaris (De la Rue).

Katherine holds a BSc in Clinical Sciences and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.

Joley Gordon

Joley Gordon

Joley Gordon began her career with Fujitsu eight years ago. Joley is also a Procurement Manager, working alongside Katherine on Fujitsu’s SME Engagement Programme. Joley was a key figure in developing Fujitsu’s SME Charter and helped to embed it into the Procurement Organisation. Along with Katherine, Joley advocates SME activities within the business, and is also responsible for the maintenance and development of the external SME web pages.

Before her appointment as a Procurement Manager, Joley spent six years working with Fujitsu’s engineering division specialising in Incident Management on many of Fujitsu’s major customer accounts.

Joley has a DiPHE in Education and Disability Studies, and has a personal and professional interest in all areas of Diversity.
