Business Performance and Gender Diversity

It is widely acknowledged that organisations with a gender diverse workforce produce better business results. Fujitsu is committed to the creation of an inclusive workplace at every level; our Board of Directors is 25% female, and we are also doing well in our apprenticeship scheme; 34% of Fujitsu’s apprentices are female compared with the national average of 10%.

Helen Lamb, Fujitsu’s Executive Director, Managed Infrastructure Services, has been shortlisted in the CBI First Women Awards. Out of hundreds that applied, 49 of the UK’s most ground-breaking women have been named as finalists in the nationwide search, which aims to unearth and celebrate inspirational female role models from across a wide range of sectors and industries. Now in their ninth year, the awards have recognised a host of ‘first women’ over the years, who are paving the way for future generations of females. The winners will be announced on 12th June.
