Our ‘high availability’ contract with Cairn Energy mirrors their existing server domain and provides them with a helpdesk service - 24 hours a day, every day of the week.
Scottish and Southern Energy also called on our specialist expertise to help them streamline their administration processes. While we were there, they also asked us to create a special online billing function for their corporate customers that would provide a set of self-service management
Plugging a platform overflow at Scottish Water
Consolidation of supply services at Scottish Water resulted in inheriting disparate NT legacy infrastructures from the North, East and West Water companies – clearly causing problems for both internal and customer communications.
Serving 4,400 desktops, the sheer scale of the operation and the pressing need for integration required a world class solution – and that naturally meant Fujitsu. Working to tight timescales, we successfully managed the migration from NT onto one common XP platform with specific responsibility for desktop services, including architectural design, training, project management and company wide deployment.
