And you’ll soon see the results of Fujitsu providing a digital media network service for JC Decaux at BAA airports in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen. This total solution project includes content hosting at a secure data centre, on-site installation, helpdesk provision and mobile engineering support for multiple plasma screens placed strategically in key locations throughout the airports.

Keeping in-store queues mobile at Vodafone

With no system to differentiate customers based on their requirements, the problem for Vodafone was that lengthy queues and frustration at not always getting in front of the right specialist adviser resulted in many customers leaving the store without making a purchase.

The Fujitsu solution was to implement the world-class Q-MATIC queue management system.

Utilising touch-screen technology, this system takes the customer through a set of questions to identify their requirements. It then issues a ticket indicating their position in the correct queue to see the most appropriate adviser, with large LCD screens keeping them updated on their progress up the queue.
