LifeBook N3510 - Work, Play Or Be Entertained With A Full-Featured Mobile Entertainment Notebook

The LifeBook N3510 combines the next-generation Intel® Centrino™ platform with mobile entertainment features that let you work or play, anytime and anywhere.

Singapore, 03 March 2005 — Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific today launched the LifeBook N3510. This high performance notebook incorporates a 15.4" SuperFine Wide display for crisp and clear images and high-end entertainment features for instant enjoyment of music, movies and other digital media. Business and home users can experience longer battery life and greater processing power with the next-generation Intel® Centrino™ platform.

The LifeBook N3510 boasts a 15.4-inch SuperFine Wide XGA screen with a 130-degree multi-viewing angle that provides superior clarity for rich multimedia playback and movie viewing - perfect for demanding business presentations, or enjoying the latest DVD movies. The N3510 offers screen chromacity of up to 72%, delivering close-to-perfect images as one would expect on a high-end colour monitor. The level of chromacity gives users an indication of the actual percentage of colour reproduction seen on a colour monitor.

The inclusion of entertainment features has been dramatically enhanced with Fujitsu's new "Instant MyMedia" technology, letting users enjoy movies and music at the touch of a button. In addition, users are now able to boot-up into a dedicated digital media environment within 10 seconds for instant movie and music entertainment, avoiding the need to first boot into the standard Windows® XP Operating System, demonstrating the high level of convergence engineered into the LifeBook N3510. Another exciting new addition is the Fujitsu Remote Control giving users instant control of their digital media experiences, making mobile entertainment a joy to experience.

The LifeBook N3510 is equipped with the Intel® Pentium® M Processor 740 with the latest Intel® 915PM chipset for superior mobile performance. An integrated DVD Super Multi Dual Layer Drive allows users to read or write all common DVD formats on-the-go, while acting as a high capacity storage solution capable of supporting up to 8.5GB of data. The N3510 also features a programmable Quick Launch panel for convenient access to frequently-launched applications, while Dual Channel DDR2 memory architecture provides up to 8.5GB/sec peak memory bandwidth catering to the needs of today's intensive applications and graphics-rich games.

Mr Mok Wai Tong, Director, Sales and Business Development, said "The new LifeBook N3510 takes digital convergence to a brand new level. By incorporating the latest Intel® CentrinoT platform and advanced ATI graphics technology, ultra- convenient digital media functionality, a super clarity widescreen, Dual Layer DVD and 100GB of hard drive storage, the N3510 is ideal for any combination of business and pleasure you desire."

The increasing popularity of digital entertainment prompted Fujitsu to include the ATI MOBILITYT RADEONR X300 Graphic Controller with 64MB of VRAM. Featuring the next generation PCI Express® graphic technology, users can enjoy smooth rendering of graphics and excellent gaming experiences.

With so many useful peripherals available today, consumers need their computers to be truly flexible. The LifeBook N3510 features an impressive array of connectivity options including four conveniently placed USB 2.0 ports, an IEEE 1394 port, an S-Video port, an SPDIF digital audio out socket, modem access and network connections, as well as a combination of Secure Digital (SD), Memory Stick and Memory Stick PRO slot that allows data to be easily transferred to and from other devices such as PDAs and digital cameras. A Type II PCMCIA slot is also included, along with ExpressCardT capability, offering higher bandwidth than traditional PCMCIA cards. Wireless connectivity is also fully supported with the inclusion of the Intel® PRO/Wireless 2200BG network connection for full compatibility with 802.11b/g networks.

According to Mr. Mok , the LifeBook N3510 is ideal for businesses and the homes. "We've designed the N3510 for maximum performance, whether you need the power to produce winning business presentations, unwind with the latest DVD or achieve total supremacy in the latest online gaming phenomenon."
