Fujitsu Submits NIS Project to ONCB


November 27, 2007 — Fujitsu Systems Business (Thailand), the global leader in IT solutions and telecommunications systems, has recently submitted the NIS project (Narcotics Information System) to the Office of Narcotics control Board (ONCB). Mr. Shoichiro Yoshioka, President of Fujitsu Systems Business (Thailand) presents the handover of the successfully concluded NIS project to Mr. Kitti Limchaikij, Secretary General of ONCB. The objective of this project is to help ONCB migrate its computing system from mainframe to server environment, while enhance and transfer all data stored in mainframe to RDBMS on PrimePower and Eternus. This helps enhance ONCB’s capabilities in performing the suppression of narcotics effectively.
