Fujitsu announces it will target a Mission – Critical Solution . Maintains commitment to boost revenue to 3 billion baht by 2007

Bangkok, March 28, 2006 — Fujitsu Systems Business (Thailand), an affiliate company of Japanese global IT solutions giant Fujitsu Limited, today announced its direction for this year as focusing on a Mission–Critical solution including server and storage, the expansion of its services to cover upcountry areas, and also the launch of a Platform Solution Centre in Thailand. Mission Critical Solution Servers
Like so many of our customers today, solutions and services must ensure the availability of an increasing amount of critical customer data without an expanding budget. And last year Fujitsu succeeded in launching a solution which met customer expectations, the Mission-Critical PRIMEQUEST™ server line based on the Intel Itanium 2 processor adding to PRIMEPOWER™ solaris based Unix Servers. The PRIMEQUEST™ server line combines data centre class fault immunity and high system scalability for industry standard environments running Linux and Windows Server 2003 for Itanium-based systems. This makes it an ideal choice for organizations wishing to realize the economic benefits and flexibility of industry standard solutions without compromising their business continuity.

"PRIMEQUEST™ servers allow our customers to obtain Mission-Critical computing on both Linux and Windows Servers," says Yoshioka Shoichiro, President, Fujitsu Systems Business (Thailand). He went on to add "Backed by our mainframe heritage, Fujitsu offers unparalleled reliability on industry-standard operating systems. The PRIMEQUEST™ server line is poised to deliver high availability and low total cost for ownership – meeting customers demands."

The Fujitsu PRIMEPOWER™ range of servers are built on the SPARC™ RISC platform and run all the applications available for Solaris, the industry leading Unix operating system. PRIMEPOWER™ servers have consistently held world performance records for the last 5 years since their introduction. They also rank as the most reliable with the best availability of servers in their class because they contain advanced features and functions not available in competitive products. Fujitsu PRIMEPOWER™ is the platform of choice when it come Solaris base machine.

To set up a Platform Solution Center in Thailand
To address the growing Thai demand for the delivery of our solutions, Fujitsu Systems Business (Thailand) announces it will open a Platform Solution Centre in Thailand within the first half of this fiscal year, the third solution centre for Fujitsu in the Asia-Pacific region, following Japan and Singapore. The Fujitsu Solution Centre will be set up to allow Fujitsu’s clients or potential clients to utilize its hardware to fulfil their requirements. These investments will build on Fujitsu’s current market success and enable companies of all sizes to enjoy the benefits of Fujitsu’s products and solutions. The solution centre will be located at Fujitsu’s new office at the Exchange Tower.

To expand the Service Partner Program to cover upcountry areas To help drive growth in Thailand, Fujitsu will expand its Service Partner Program to cover upcountry areas to give resellers in Thailand the ability to package Fujitsu professional services with leading technology, empowering resellers to create complete solutions tailored to SME customer requirements.

“The SME segment is currently driving a significant proportion of regional IT market growth,” said Yoshioka Shoichiro, President, Fujitsu Systems Business (Thailand). He also stated “Our ability to provide businesses in this market with an open, flexible and scalable technology solution that addresses specific business needs has enabled us to increase our customer base and our revenue. Fujitsu increases its commitment with our customer to empower our partners to drive integrated solutions.
