Fujitsu Remains at the Top in Japanese IT Outsourcing Revenue Ranking for Two Consecutive Years

November 27, 2006 — Tokyo,— Fujitsu Limited today announced that according to the press release issued on September 4 by IDC Japan, the company was number one in revenues in the Japanese IT outsourcing market for fiscal 2005 (the year ending March 31, 2006). According to IDC Japan's newly released document, "Japan IT Outsourcing Leading Vendor Profile 2006" (J6100104), this marks the second successive year in which Fujitsu has ranked first in revenues in the Japanese IT outsourcing market.

Fujitsu has been meeting customers' needs in Japan by offering a wide variety of IT outsourcing services. In addition to data center outsourcing, these include On-Site Outsourcing for operational management of systems located at customer sites; Application Outsourcing such as Application Portfolio Management services for the operation and maintenance of customer applications; and Safety and Security Solutions that make integrated risk management possible for customers.

Furthermore, Fujitsu is also actively introducing services that utilize cutting-edge technology, such as the world's first CAD On-Demand Service for providing 3D CAD software through data centers, which it launched in Japan in February.

Fujitsu plans to build on its achievements in this market by continuing to promote lifecycle proposals for operational services that are planned, designed and constructed from customer viewpoint.
