ExactTrak gains from Trusted Public Cloud and expands globally

"We chose the Fujitsu Cloud Platform for its commitment to data security, integrity and proven global reach. Our customers demand the highest security standards and unanimously agree that Fujitsu more than meets their requirements."

Norman Shaw, Founder and CEO, ExactTrak

The customer

ExactTrak is a specialist mobile data security and data loss prevention company that has built a reputation of delivering high quality solutions that enable organisations to have more control over the tracking, management and protection of mobile data. With a global customer base in both the public and private sectors, the company has developed a number of patented mobile data protection products that address the growing need for mobile data security and asset recovery for remote and mobile users. All ExactTrak solutions are designed and manufactured in the UK.

The challenge

ExactTrak needed a secure, robust and highly available cloud platform to support its USB data security solution and host the associated management console. It also needed scalability to cope with the next phase in the company’s growth.

The solution

The Fujitsu Cloud Platform offers self-service cloud computing capacity on a true pay-as-you-use basis, incorporating among the best in security features both in the data centre and desktop.

The benefit

  • Fujitsu Cloud TPS5 is reliable, secure and easy to use, with ExactTrak customers able to upload and configure their consoles typically within 15 minutes
  • With sales expected to increase dramatically, Fujitsu can offer the scalability to go from 7,000 consecutive connections to 7,000,000 without compromising performance
  • ExactTrak only pays for the virtual machines and storage it uses so it can manage costs as it grows
  • Fujitsu’s involvement gives ExactTrak the credibility to enter discussions with chip manufacturers such as AMD who are keen to integrate ExactTrak technology directly in-device
