Transmission & Switch Technologies

Fujitsu's FETEX-150 Digital Switching systems have been deployed by telecom operators all over the world, which includes Colombia, Zimbabwe, UAE, Kuwait, India, China, Indo-China, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore, to name a few.

From FAPL, we provide project based or on-demand based regional support to our FETEX-150 customers in Southeast Asia, Middle-East, Africa and Colombia. We offer various kinds of services ranging from system health check to onsite critical problem analysis. At the same time, we provide advance operation and maintenance (O&M) training regularly to increase our customers' maintenance skills and knowledge.

Singapore is the regional technical support center for South East Asia. We have a state-of-the-art Customer Service Request Management System (CSRMS) providing web-based customer support, with which our customers could send in their requests, monitor status of their requests and even browse for information on their network. Internally, the CSRMS provides an international workflow system where our support engineers based in different countries could support any request from the customers.

Our core competence lies in the voice and data technology. Our software developers are engaged in providing software customization of supplementary services to meet each customer's needs. Having a good understanding of our customers' requirements have enabled us to help our customers become more competitive with newer and better services.

In our continuous efforts to improve on customers' O&M management, we have developed several O&M terminals to simplify the work processes of our customers. These include the F-MODE, an intelligent replacement of the Magnetic Tape Unit and the FETEX-DESK, another intelligent human-machine interface with our FETEX-150 switching system. With such intelligent terminals, distance is no longer a problem.
