Services Provided

Hardware may include PC desktop systems, portables, PC LAN Servers, Peripherals, Unix systems, Network Devices and Mainframes.

Software includes all operating system, applications and networking software.

All Computer-related consumables.


Fujitsu procurement service provides for the procurement of IT hardware and software products for the Customer and delivery of those products to specified Customer locations. This includes:

Order Processing

The Customer initiates a purchase of IT hardware and software products by sending an authorized purchase order to Fujitsu. Fujitsu acknowledges the order, checks the order details for completeness and required delivery date and confirms the delivery back to the Customer. Fujitsu then processes the order, using agreed procedures.

On individual basis, Fujitsu will agree with the Customer a quick means of order for consumables or other agreed products via telephone, fax or email purchase orders.

Product Supply

Fujitsu will manage the order with relevant product suppliers to ensure stock availability and to arrange delivery, within required time scales, to the agreed Customer location(s).

Fujitsu will liaise with the Customer to check and confirm correct delivery of the products. The Customer must check and confirm delivery of the products, by checking and signing for delivered items against the purchase order. Fujitsu rectifies any incorrect delivery and replace equipment which is defective on arrival.

Fujitsu then notifies the Customer's installation staff and asset controller of the availability of the products and sends the associated documentation for action.

Invoicing

Once the delivery is complete, Fujitsu invoices the Customer according to agreed procedures.

Service Management

Fujitsu provides regular reports for Customer review. Fujitsu will agree the format and content of the reports to be provided with the Customer. This may include product purchases in periods, goods received reports, charges, invoicing details and payment status, equipment warranty and software license registration, any problem or service exceptions and the corrective actions taken.


The modular structure means that our services can be tailored to the Customer's individual needs or to accommodate specific requirements on a local level.
