MHW2040AC

2.5-Inch, Extreme Environment, 40GB, 4200 RPM
MHW2040AC - MHW2040AC E

"All-Terrain, All-Weather Extreme Environment HDD"
The MHW2040AC series HDD is the latest fast, reliable, highly robust, state-of-the-art extreme conditions offering from the Fujitsu stable. The 2.5-inch, 4,200 rpm drive features a parallel ATA interface and 40GB of storage capacity in a small form factor. Underneath its innocuous facade lies the ability to operate from sub-zero to near face-melting temperatures (-20 to 85 degree celsius). In addition, it has the ability to withstand operational shock of up to 300G at altitudes of up to 4000 m above sea level. The MHW2040AC HDD is extremely power efficient, requiring only 1.8 watts to read and write data.
Ideal for Extreme Environment and Ruggedized Outdoor Computing
The MHW2040AC series HDD is the perfect solution for automotive, marine and industrial applications or other environments which require high robustness and wider operating temperatures than standard hard drive applications. This series is also suitable for demanding round-the-clock POS systems.
