Fujitsu's travel-ready hard disk drives are equipped with the necessary components to enable users to take their data wherever they go. It even comes with a password lock utility to secure stored data and prevent unauthorised access.

Its distinctive internal shock-endurance mechanism helps to reduce the effect of impact and lends increased data protection. The easy-to-carry HandyDrives offer a maximum data transfer rate of 60 MB per second, come with an 8 MB read/write buffer, weigh less than 255 grams, and are contained in a robust housing measuring 142 mm x 82 mm x 22 mm (DxWxH).

Available capacities of 160 GB, 250GB , 320GB , 400GB and 500GB provide sufficient space even for storage intensive applications. The power is supplied via the USB 2.0 interface.

The HandyDrives can be connected and disconnected even if the computer system is in operation (Hot plug & play). They are easy to operate and ideal portable devices for storing work files, multimedia applications, photos, videos, MP3s, as well as for temporary data backup, data exchange, data transport, and security solutions. Primarily for mobile use, Fujitsu's external HandyDrives can also be utilized as a storage extension for desktop PCs.
