Superior Paper Handling
- fi-4860C2 is equipped with a 500 sheet configurable Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) that has the ability to scan paper size ranging from A7 to A3.
- Input elevator-style hopper allows easier paper feeding.
- For smooth feeding, the ADF is equipped with ultrasonic multi feed detection to detect and stop 2 sheets of paper being feed simultaneously. (IMPROVED!!!)
- Automatic length detection conserves file space by eliminating excess white space when scanning batches of mixed-length documents.
High Quality Image via bundled Kofax Virtual ReScan (VRS) (NEW!!!)
- Converts documents containing colored background or shaded areas into highly legible monochrome.
- Automatically deletes blank pages, rotates images so that each one is facing the proper orientation and automatically controls contrast.
- Suppresses background noise and gradation to generate cleaner images that require less file size.

- Pre-Imprinter Unit: adds indexing and tracking information to the front side of documents prior to scanning.
