Experience the digital world in fast-forward mode

With its enhanced computing companions harnessing the power of dual-core processing engines and possessing the full potential of Windows Vista™, Fujitsu helps you realize your goals faster than you ever anticipated.

30 October 2006 — Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific today introduces their line-up of computing companions running on Intel® Core™2 Duo processors.

The newest processing engine from the Intel® Centrino® Duo Mobile Technology platform, Intel® Core™2 Duo processor promises even higher performance while consuming less energy at the same time. Encase all its power and benefits in stylish housings and seal them with Fujitsu’s trademark reliability, and we have a formidable collection of mobile computing companions.

Imagine processors which provide more than twice the overall performance (1) to multitask while using up 28% less power (2) than previous Intel® Centrino® components. Switch between the numerous files and applications you need to work on that important presentation without your notebook threatening to hang or shut down. Be absorbed into the exciting high-definition game with appallingly brilliant graphics without hearing the strain on your notebook PC. Effortlessly achieve more with Fujitsu’s computing companions.

High performers LifeBook E8210, with a 15.4-inch WSXGA+ LCD widescreen, and LifeBook E8110, with a 15-inch XGA TFT screen, are both meticulously designed to project the sleek and professional image high-flying executives desire. A comprehensive set of security features, which includes the BIOS lock, two-password Hard Disk Lock, customary LifeBook lock, RF-based fingerprint sensor, dedicated SmartCard slot and Trusted Module Platform (TPM v1.2) option, completes the package.

The widely-popular LifeBook S series models retain their irresistible sleekness and style, each weighing well below 2kg for true mobility. The generous 14.1-inch LifeBook S7110 and S7111, as well as the leaner 13.3-inch LifeBook S6310 and S6311, are each fitted with sturdy magnesium-alloy casings to ensure a perfect combination of performance and aesthetic. Targeted at the corporate segment, LifeBook S7110 and S6310 feature an unwavering set of security and connectivity features, while LifeBook S7111 and S6311 are equipped with SuperFine XGA TFT screens to cater to consumers who take pleasure in larger-than-life multimedia experiences. Worthy to mention, with improved power management on LifeBook S6310 and S6311, battery life can now last up to an astonishing 10 hours (3), greatly enhancing mobile productivity!

Not forgetting the mainstream consumers, Fujitsu has specially tailored a well-rounded LifeBook C1410, which strikes a perfect balance between performance and presentation, value and portability.

For serious entertainment aficionados, LifeBook N6420 delivers the ultimate experience on a 17-inch Colour Enhanced Crystal View Display. Besides, it also features the new Fujitsu Visual Optimizer, a special image processing subsystem that amplifies video from any source for unsurpassed sharpness and offers genuine color realization for perfect color matches. The ground-breaking HD DVD drive, which supports viewing of high-definition movie movies, further enhances your sensational visual experience.

With its dual hard disk drives, the LifeBook N6420 offers up to 400GB hard disk drive storage, the largest capacity in the industry. To realize absolute entertainment, turn up the volume and hear the amazing juxtaposition of sounds emerge from two impressive internal speakers and a powerful subwoofer.

To prevent unnecessary and potentially expensive data loss, we have incorporated the three-dimensional Fujitsu shock sensor utility (SSU) to the LifeBook E and S series’ models highlighted above. Not only does it retrieve the read-write head to prevent damages to the hard disk in case of accidents, it also toughens security as sudden movements will trigger an automatic Windows® screen lock.

In addition, all above-mentioned models are Windows Vista™ capable, so when the highly anticipated operating system is launched, users can easily carry out an upgrade to enjoy enhanced features and interface. To mark another milestone in the development of information technology, as well as to make both express performance and improved interface more readily available to our customers, Fujitsu is participating in Microsoft’s Express Upgrade to Windows Vista™ program. Customers can check out the details of this program at www.pc-ap.fujitsu.com/vistaupgrade.
