10 December 2007 Singapore: Fujitsu Microelectronics Strengthens R&D Capabilities in West China with Chengdu West Star Investment
Singapore, December 10, 2007 – Fujitsu Electronic Devices Group Asia (EDGA) today announced a majority investment in Chengdu West Star Chips Co., Ltd. to boost its R&D capabilities in Chengdu, West China. As part of expansion plans derived from this investment, West Star has relocated to new premises to accommodate the expected expansion of its R&D team by over 300 engineers in the next three years.

23 October 2007 Taipei: Delta Network, Inc. and Fujitsu Team Up to Deliver WiMAX Subscriber Station
Taipei, October 23, 2007 – Fujitsu Microelecronics Pacific Asia Ltd announced that Fujitsu, a leading supplier and developer of WiMAX solution, has formed an alliance with Taiwanese company Delta Networks Inc(DNI), an industry-leading original design manufacturer of network communication equipment, to develop a 802.16e compliant, Wave2 certifiable WiMAX subscriber station. Both company will be showing WiMAX product at Fujitsu booth(C4-1) during the Taipei WiMAX Forum Showcase and Conference in Taipei at TICC.
23 October 2007 Taipei: Mototech team up with Fujitsu on Mobile WiMAX
Taipei, October 23, 2007 – Mototech, a global ODM specialist in the broadband and data networking market selects Fujitsu as the WiMAX baseband SoC partner. 4 December 2007 Tokyo: Fujitsu and Taiwan's Institute for Information Industry to Establish Joint Venture for WiMAX Application Platforms
Tokyo, December 4, 2007 – Fujitsu Limited and the Institute for Information Industry (III) of Taiwan, a non-governmental organization jointly sponsored by the Taiwan government and prominent private enterprises, today announced their agreement to enter into a memorandum of understanding (MOU), to establish a new company in Taiwan that will develop application platforms and provide engineering support based on WiMAX technology from Fujitsu and III. Through the joint venture, scheduled to be established in March 2008, it is anticipated that Fujitsu and III will significantly contribute to the development of the WiMAX industry in Taiwan.
20 August 2007 Singapore: Fujitsu Increases Speed and Life of Ultra-Compact, 3-inch Thermal Printer Mechanism
