Fujitsu Names Michael Shih Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for its Asia Pacific Electronic Devices Group Business

Singapore, September 25, 2006 – Fujitsu Microelectronics Asia Pte Ltd today named Michael Shih as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fujitsu Electronic Devices Group Asia (EDGA). EDGA business comprises two important markets, Great China and South Asia regions. Its main business activities comprises of providing integrated business solutions and R&D support to custom LSI, standard LSI and system LSI products.

Fujitsu and Tokyo Institute of Technology Announce the Development of New Material for 256Mbit FeRAM Using 65-nanometer Technology

Singapore, August 8, 2006 – Fujitsu Microelectronics Asia Pte Ltd (FMAL) today announced that Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo-Tech), Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd., and Fujitsu Limited have jointly developed a new material for a new generation of non-volatile Ferroelectric Random Access Memory (FeRAM). The material is a modified composition of Bismuth Ferrite (BiFeO3 or BFO), which enables data storage capacity up to five times greater than the materials currently used in FeRAM production.

Singapore Hospital Becomes First in Asia to Deploy Cisco Clinical Connection Suite Solution

Singapore, February 14, 2006 – Alexandra Hospital has become the first hospital in Asia to deploy advanced Medical-Grade Network solutions from Cisco Systems. The hospital is collaborating with Cisco Systems to capitalize on the Cisco Clinical Connection Suite to overcome challenges such as bed shortages, delivery of medical information and location of patients and hospital assets. This is part of Alexandra Hospital’s aim of providing hassle-free healthcare to its patients. The solution is being implemented by Fujitsu Asia, Cisco’s healthcare channel partner in Singapore.
