Singapore, April 10, 2003 – Fujitsu Limited today announced the release of two new low-voltage (1.8V) flash-memory products that respond to mobile communications devices' growing needs for greater storage capacity, high-speed operation and lower power consumption. The MBMN29BS12DH is a NOR-type 128-Mbit product with burst mode functionality for use in mobile devices. The MBM29SL800TE and MBM29SL800BE are NOR-type 8-Mbit products employing Super Chip Size Package (Super-CSPTM) packaging technology for use in wireless communications modules, such as Bluetooth, and for ultra-compact mobile devices.

- Fujitsu Releases New 32-bit RISC Microcontroller, the MB91302
Singapore, April 8, 2003 – Fujitsu Limited today announced that it has jointly developed with Fujitsu VLSI Limited the MB91302, a new 32-bit high-performance RISC microcontroller that implements direct memory access for high-speed data transfer. The new microcontroller, which is especially well suited for DVD players, digital cameras, printers, video games, and other applications that require high-speed throughput, is available starting today.

Tokyo, February 27, 2003 – Fujitsu Limited today announced the development of the MB89R116, an FRAM-embedded chip for radio frequency identification (RFID) tags that can, at high speeds, read/write data 100 times greater than bar-codes and 30 times greater than tags using EEPROM. The new chip, which is available starting today, is designed for precision tracking of product quality as products move through distribution channels, and can be used for a wide variety of products.

- Fujitsu and AU Optronics to Collaborate in Liquid Crystal Displays
Tokyo, January 28, 2003 – Fujitsu Limited and Fujitsu Display Technologies Corporation today announced that they have signed a memorandum of understanding to undertake a wide-ranging collaboration in the field of liquid crystal displays (LCDs) with AU Optronics Corporation of Taiwan. As part of the collaboration, AU Optronics will take a 20% equity share in Fujitsu Display Technologies, currently a wholly owned subsidiary that develops, manufactures and markets LCDs, with the remaining 80% to be held by Fujitsu Limited.

Tokyo, January 20, 2003 – Fujitsu Limited and FSMLabs, Inc. today announced that they have been verifying FSMLabs' RTLinux/Pro on evaluation boards with Fujitsu's FR-V family of processors and have validated exceptional levels of real-time processing performance required for multi-media equipment. FSMLabs Japan Ltd., the Japan office of FSMLabs, will start selling this system "RTLinux/Pro for FR-V" from February 1st.
