Fujitsu Launches a System on Chip for Multimedia Processing using embedded FR-V processor with MMU (MB93461)

Singapore, July 23, 2004 – Fujitsu Microelectronics Asia Pte Ltd introduces “MB93461᾿, first of the “FR 450 series᾿ of the SoC (System on Chip) products using “FR450 core᾿, a programmable media processor that incorporates a MMU. The SoC “MB93461᾿ is a highly integrated chip with resources like the FR-V core, video, audio, communication on a single chip. In addition, two bridge chips “MB93441᾿ and “MB93443᾿ were also developed to provide the additional interfaces like PCI, IDE and PC Card interface.
