Singapore, March 29, 2002 – Fujitsu Microelectronics Asia Pte Ltd (FMAL) today announced that it has begun prototype production of cutting-edge 90-nanometer* LSI semiconductor devices at its Akiruno Technology Center. The pathbreaking accomplishment utilizes a new clean room installed in December that employs a fully modular contamination control system.

Fujitsu Launches Two High-Performance 32-bit RISC Microcontrollers for Digital A/V Applications

Singapore, March 19, 2002 – Fujitsu Microelectronics Asia Pte Ltd (FMAL) today announced the development of two new 32-bit RISC microcontrollers for DVD players, digital television, video cameras and other digital audio/video equipment. Jointly developed with affiliate Fujitsu VLSI Ltd., the two new products in the MB91125 series of controllers (MB91F127 and MB91F128) will be available starting April 2002.
