Singapore, October 3, 2002 – Fujitsu Asia Pte Ltd, one of the leading suppliers of hard disk drives and computer peripherals, today unveiled its next-generation of low-profile, high-speed and high capacity hard disk drives (HDD) designed specifically for high-performance enterprise computing and emerging market applications. Introducing the new Fujitsu MAP and MAS series, with spindle needle of 10K-rpm and 15K-rpm, respectively, delivering capacities of up to 147GB/73.5GB in a 1-inch high, 3.5-inch form factor. Compared with previous generation models, the new enterprise hard disk drives feature twice the areal density, with significant increase in internal data transfer rates at 25 percent to 28 percent.

Singapore, September 27, 2002 – Fujitsu Asia Pte Ltd, one of the leading suppliers of hard disk drives and computer peripherals, today introduced its MHS Series of next-generation 2.5-inch hard disk drives (HDD), a family of three 9.5mm-height form-factor HDD products that feature the highest-ever areal density in the 2.5-inch HDD class. Moreover, the new products are standardized on Fujitsu's fluid dynamic bearing (FDB) motor technology, which renders the drives virtually silent. Singapore, May 24, 2002 – Fujitsu Microelectronics Asia Pte Ltd (FMAL) today announced the introduction of its new 8-bit microcontroller, the MB89F538L, which includes 48 Kbytes of flash memory and comes in a compact 0.8 mm-high BCC-64 package with a 9 x 9 mm footprint. Developed jointly with Kyushu Fujitsu Electronics Ltd., the new product is ideal for use as a sub-controller in digital appliances, such as digital cameras and DVD recorders.
