Computer Associates

Jasmine is a software product jointly developed through Fujitsu's strategic alliance with Computer Associates International Inc (CA). It represents one of the first times that leading US and Japanese companies have cooperated in an international software development project, and promises to provide global solutions for e-business and other next-generation IT tools. The first product was released in December 1997, and more than 250,000 copies of development-edition CD-ROMs have now been distributed all over the world. In addition to a joint development program, Fujitsu's alliance with Computer Associates is producing extensive business collaboration. Under the umbrella of the "Jasmine" brand, several international Fujitsu Group companies are working together with CA subsidiaries to market solutions and establish Jasmine as a global de facto standard. The Development and Solution Partner Program being promoted around the world to achieve this already has over 200 vendors committed to Jasmine, including such household names as Sony, Kodak and Adobe.
