Portugal Stora Enso Packaging Follows the Lead of Parent Stora Enso in Fujitsu's Patja Service
Two staff members of Stora Enso's on-site support in Lahti will move to Fujitsu's pay roll. The agreement covers infrastructure support for almost 400 workstations, some 25 servers and network management and monitoring services.
The Patja service will be launched at the beginning of October.
”Stora Enso aims at streamlining the group's operations. Most of Stora Enso's units in Finland have already joined the Patja service, and now it was our turn to adopt its uniform policies and processes. It was easy to step into an already existing and well-oiled setup", says Seppo Säämänen, Manager, Information Systems of Stora Enso Packaging.
The forest products company Stora Enso's Patja agreement was renewed for the next three years at the end of 2006. All in all, Stora Enso's IT infrastructure service agreement covers some 5.000 workstations.
