
The main business of the Audio, Visual and Communications (AVC) Section is the development of Embedded Software for the Car Audio-Visual (AV) Systems. This software is the brain of the Car AV System. The software controls all functions and features of the car audio. In the development of the software, a variety of 8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit micro-controllers are used. The software is developed using board level programming languages such as Assembler and C-language. This model features a built-in CD-Player, AM/FM receiver capable of 24 preset stations, Clock display, Wireless Remote Control, Electronic Serial Number (ESN) for Security Network function, Dolby Surround Prologic (DSP) Control, and voice control function. The built-in CD player is capable of playing CD/CDR/CDRW/MP3 formats and also features CD-TEXT. It also provides Disc title input function that can accommodate up to 100 disc title input, with a maximum of 12 characters per title. The display panel features a fancy Vacuum Filament Display (VFD) type capable of animation, dimmer control which provides a variety of display intensity depending on the desired illumination effect. In addition to the different display effect is a 2 way illumination control of GREEN and RED button illumination. This also provides built-in definition control over FM/AM band selection and disc title input storage through Memory Pattern function. An optional in-dash 6 disc CD changer and Hideaway CD Changer Daisy Chain control is also available. All of these are for a more pleasant listening and comfortable viewing pleasure.
