AccelArray™ is a structured ASIC platform technology that leverages Fujitsu’s leading-edge 0.11 μm process technology. It offers high-performance, short turn-around-time and low development cost solutions. AccelArray™ delivers high performance through the use of leading technologies, high-speed interfaces and ultra-high-pin-count FC-BGAs. AccelArray™ uses pre-fabricated master frames, and its unique architecture avoids many back-end physical design tasks that are needed with traditional cell-based ASICs. AccelArray™ reduces total ASIC development cost for 0.11 μm products by as much as 70 percent. Two base frame line-ups, Mega frame and Giga frame, are provided for AccelArray™. Mega frame places priority on high integration and supports 400 Mbps interfaces. Giga frame supports 3.125 Gbps interfaces. Moreover, the frame equipped with ARM926EJ-S™ core is prepared.
