Singapore, 22 May 2003 — The LifeBook P5010 offers today's senior executive the most compact and stylish wireless-capable notebook on the market.
Using the latest Intel® Centrino™ Mobile Technology, the LifeBook P5010 offers comprehensive features including a crisp, clear 10.6" SXGA widescreen TFT supported by Dolby sound quality from cylindrical bass-reflection speakers folded into the hinge mechanism.
Alex Leung, COO Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific says the LifeBook P5010's unique portable form factor means the traveling senior executive can make decisions on the move, taking full advantage of wireless mobility.
"Senior executives throughout the region have asked us for a sleek and powerful WLAN-capable notebook that can let them do business while spending large amounts of time traveling between offices," Mr Leung said.
"We designed the LifeBook P5010 as their link to the rest of the organisation at the touch of a button, wherever they may be."
"We have found that access to power sources often dictates where a senior executive can use their notebook. The LifeBook P5010 has taken care of this concern with a battery life of up to five hours with the option of up to 11 hours using the additional battery pack," he said.
The comprehensive design of the LifeBook P5010 puts power and expandability into the hands of the senior executive with a DVD/CD-RW combination drive, Compact Flash and memory stick direct slots and FireWire, SPDIF, VGA, LAN and modem ports that are neatly covered when not in use.
