A Desktop that Looks Good and Works Even Better
Aesthetically designed, space-saving form factor is a crowd-pleaser
Singapore, 29 October 2002 — The new DESKPOWER C600 from Fujitsu offers the reliability and consistent performance needed by companies in a slim, stylish housing. Enterprises will also appreciate the wide variety of customisable options available to adapt the DESKPOWER C600 for their own particular needs.
Wide Variety of Options to Suit Different Needs
Fujitsu has incorporated some of the most powerful processors in a very small, thin housing in a feat of modern engineering.
Users can choose from a range of processor speeds up to Intel® Pentium® 4 2.4GHz, and the 2.0GHz Intel®
Celeron processor. The DESKPOWER C600 comes with a standard CD-R/RW built-in drive, which can be changed to a Combo Drive
or CD-ROM drive, depending on each corporation’s usage patterns which can vary between industries.
Ergonomic, Thoughtful Design
One of the slimmest, most compact desktop PCs in its class, the DESKPOWER C600 takes up only one-third the area of the traditional
desktop, creating valuable space on already crowded workstations for files, binders and peripherals like scanners and PDA
cradles. Its towerable design allows users to slot it into narrow spaces vertically or placed flat length-wise in shallow
shelves and pull-out drawers, and even side by side with other desktop PCs for better desktop management. To save even more
space, companies may wish to upgrade to a Fujitsu TFT LCD display. Aesthetically pleasing, the DESKPOWER C600 will blend nicely
into any modern office setting with its tasteful colour scheme. Durable, sturdy and sleek, the DESKPOWER C600 uses high quality
components like hard disk drives which emit very low noise levels for more conducive working conditions.
Secure, Expandable Business PCs
Each DESKPOWER C600 features built-in slots for Kensington locks and comes pre-installed with anti-virus software for added
security. Four USB 2.0 ports (2 in front and 2 at the back), 2 PCI slots and integrated networking capability allow users
to easily connect multiple peripherals like printers and even digital cameras to the DESKPOWER simultaneously for added convenience
and usability. The DESKPOWER C600 is also able to support intensive graphics applications with a 64MB integrated graphics
memory.
Proven Reliability and Quality
The DESKPOWER C600 is an elegant, cost-effective and practical computing business machine that offers the full list of features
and functions that enterprises want. Users are also reassured of the high quality standards and stringent testing processes
that is a hallmark of any Fujitsu product. Companies will be able to easily expand and upgrade their internal systems based
on the DESKPOWER C600 due to the standardised global design of all Fujitsu desktop PCs, thereby reducing the total cost of
ownership.
