Fujitsu joins forces with Amedia Networks to expand Asia Pacific Wireless Multimedia Markets
Singapore, December 11, 2006 — Fujitsu Microelectronics Asia Pte Ltd today announced that Fujitsu Electronic Devices Group Asia (EDGA) and Amedia Networks, a US-based company have established a collaboration to expand the wireless multimedia market in Asia Pacific regions.
Under the cooperative agreement, EDGA integrates its digital AV devices into Amedia Networks wireless multimedia connectivity solutions, then to market the complete system solutions across Asia Pacific and global markets. At present, EDGA has successfully deployed the new product to some of its customers.

As a leading supplier of components to digital AV applications, this joint effort with Amedia Networks represents a natural progression of EDGA’s plan to further enhance its influence in wireless multimedia market and strengthen its competitive positioning in this market segment. Furthermore, the integration of Fujitsu’s technology into Amedia Networks’ solutions will deliver better support for wireless infrastructure in the fast growing wireless multimedia application markets.
