Fujitsu Releases New FR60Lite 32-bit RISC Microcontrollers
Include Industry's Fastest A/D Converters
Tokyo, 25 March 2003 — Fujitsu Limited today announced that it has jointly developed with Fujitsu VLSI Limited two new models in the FR60Lite Series of 32-bit high-performance RISC microcontrollers. The two new models, which are part of the MB91260 series and include the fastest analog-to-digital (A/D) converters in the industry, are available starting today.
Having a fast A/D converter embedded in the controller makes it an efficient device for inverter controls used in air conditioners or washing machines, as well as for system controls used in such equipment as printer engines and car-audio systems.
Series Features
- Industry's Fastest A/D Converter
The product is equipped with a 1.2 µs analog-to-digital converter, the fastest in the industry. - High-Speed Multiply-Accumulate Macro
The high-speed multiply-accumulate (MAC) macro can perform 16-bit MAC calculations (max 33 MHz) in one clock cycle.
